Sundays at St George’s Coventry
Helping people thrive in the love of God
Sunday services
Sunday is the day of the week we get together to worship God with passion, learn from the Bible, be inspired by the Holy Spirit, and celebrate all the good things Jesus has done for us.
9am – Holy Communion Service
A communion service, with hymns and a sermon.
This service is small and quiet. It finishes at 9:50. It is a perfect way to start the day. (No 9 am service on the 5th Sunday of the month.)

10.30am – Main Communion Service
Worship with Holy Communion and children’s groups.
On the first Sunday of the month, we have an all age, altogether service. On the following Sundays, there are children’s groups during the service. The worship is liturgical, the singing is led by a band and both modern and traditional songs are used.

Children's groups on Sundays
Children are an important part of life here at St George's and there are Sunday groups for all ages up to 12 which take place during our 10.30am worship. Our hope is that they will grow up knowing Jesus as their friend and become his followers for the rest of their lives. All children’s group leaders are DBS checked.
Please note, on the first Sunday of every month there is no children’s group during the service. Instead, a dedicated play area at the back of the church is available for families and we encourage you to still come along and enjoy the service together.
Over 5's
Children aged five and over are invited to leave the service after 20 minutes to join in with lots of fun and age-appropriate activities to learn to be like Jesus and do the things that Jesus does.
Bubbles
For pre-school age children, Bubbles is a perfect opportunity for play, fun activities and Bible stories during the Sunday service. Parents are welcome to join their children until they feel happy and settled.
Outside of Sundays
Our weekly activities are undergoing a revamp at the moment. Please watch this space.

Ever wanted to find out what life's all about?
Explore Christianity
Sometimes there isn't time to think about the big questions of life. We're so busy working, looking after our children or just busy living our lives, that we don't always get chance to think about the big picture.
Try Alpha
The Alpha course is a great way to find out more about Christianity, ask questions or simply listen to other’s stories. Enjoy a meal together, then listen to a short talk followed by a chance to discuss in small groups. It's free and it's open to anyone.

Or prefer a less formal way of learning?
Watch 'The Chosen'
We host screenings of the popular TV programme The Chosen.
If you are interested in either Alpha or The Chosen, please drop us an email .
